Gail Huff Brown Calls on Chris Pappas to Return Donation From Nord Stream 2 Lobbyist

Pappas accepted a $2,500 donation from lobbyist Vincent Roberti in 2019.

RYE, NH – Today, Gail Huff Brown, candidate for congress in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District called on Congressman Chris Pappas to return a $2,500 contribution from Vincent Roberti, one of the lead lobbyists for the Nord Stream 2 Pipeline.

“Under President Joe Biden and Congressman Chris Pappas, our nation has become dependent on foreign energy – emboldening dangerous dictators like Vladimir Putin, and further weakening our position in the world,” said Huff Brown.

“It should come as no surprise that Congressman Pappas has worked against our energy independence after he received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from a chief lobbyist for Russia’s Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

“Congressman Pappas needs to immediately return this contribution and explain to New Hampshire voters his support for Biden Administration policies that have made Americans and the world less safe. It’s time for Chris Pappas to go,” Brown added.
